My mom came down this weekend, and we had a great time (like always!) but this time was extra special, because we got matching tattoos! My mom has always wanted a tattoo, but has never been able to decide on what she wanted, so when a friend told me how a friend of hers got a tattoo with her mom, I thought, “That’s perfect!”  I already have four herons on my back which represent my family, and my mom has always liked them, so deciding what the two of us would get was actually pretty easy. I’m so proud of my mom for getting it done! They were done by Cyndi Lou of Squid & Whale, who is easily my favorite tattoo artists, hands down (she’s now done four of my tats).
